Johnnie Crisp - Men's Ministry Leader
Kristie Crisp – Pastor
Johnnie and Kristie have been married since 1992 and have been in ministry together since 2006. For the first few years of their marriage, Johnnie was serving in the United States Army while Kristie was busy at home with their two daughters. As they started their time in ministry, Kristie was called to pursue her education in ministry so she could go on to be an Ordained Elder. Their ministry together first started with their own marriage, then raising children who would know the love of God and then moved to leading youth in their church’s congregation. Kristie has served as a pastor for several congregations around South Texas and then moved to San Angelo in 2020 with her husband. They have fallen in love with San Angelo where they now call home and so do with their adult daughters (Katie Amende & Kirstin Crisp) and amazing grandson (Jensen).
Steven Lytle – Adult Ministry Leader
Chelsea Lytle- Deacon
Steven and Chelsea were both born and raised in San Angelo and were married in 2004. Steven joined the U.S. Army where over the next 12 years, they grew as a couple and became a family of 5. Steven and Chelsea have three beautiful daughters: Kaytlyn, Lilianna, and Halle. Chelsea completed her bachelor’s degree in education, while raising their babies and following Steven around the United States. After Steven was medically retired, they came back to San Angelo, the only place they really called home. Steven now serves the community by helping people plan their funerals to remove the burden from their loved ones and Chelsea now splits her time between working at the church and her mom’s downtown shop. Together, they have been called to make disciples of Jesus Christ, and they couldn’t be more joyful about this mission.
Katie Amende – Praise & Worship Leader and Children’s Ministry Director
Katie Amende is the daughter of Johnnie and Pastor Kristie. She will tell you that she believes that she has the best church family in the world. Her love has aways been working with children and music. She graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in music education. Katie is also a certified teacher in the state of Texas and has been in the teaching world for the last 9 years. She has been in ministry in some form or fashion for close to 15 years. Katie is the music teacher at Glenmore Elementary and loves her job there. Her son, Jensen, attends the same school where she teaches, what a blessing! Katie and Jensen have lived in San Angelo since 2021 and have fallen in love with the small feel of this Texas town.
